Struggling Families in 19 states get relief under the Hardest Hit Plan
In February 2010, The Obama Administration established a program to aid millions of struggling families in the states most hit by dropping home values, economical crisis, high unemployment rates, foreclosure filings, and delinquent mortgages.
19 states were chosen and granted over $75 Bn in funds to stop foreclosure, offer principle balance reductions, forgiveness of past due payments, substantial payment reductions and lowering interest rates.
